Grade 5 Morrill Hall Autumn Similes Diamante Poems Fifth graders used PhotoShop Elements to illustrate their Autumn Similes. They did an image search on the Internet to find fall leaves. These were downloaded and saved. The white backgrounds on the leaf pictures were erased. Students used a gradient background, typed their similes, and then inserted the leaves.
