Autumn Winter Spring Summer Life Cycle of a Butterfly Chet Ager Nature Center Celebration with Sarah Fire Safety Butterfly Release TaeKwonDo Harvest of Books Polar Express 2nd Grade Musical Butterfly Release Second grade students raised butterflies from eggs to adulthood and observed the life cycle as they watched caterpillars spin cocoons and then saw butterflies emerge. The unit culminated with the release of butterflies. The students named the butterflies and wrote good-by letters before freeing them. Butterfly Release - 2
