Creative Curriculum Connections Creative Curriculum Connections ties the world of art and creativity to the world of literacy specifically reading, writing, listening and speaking. Third grade "connects" using ROXABOXEN by Alice McLerran from their Social Studies curriculum. Students read the story, discussed a community, and the buildings in it. Next they re-purposed small boxes and used scraps to add details. Enjoy their community!
