Kettle of Hawk groups
involve everyone at Ruth Hill School. Every adult has a "kettle"
of students from Kindergarten through sixth grade. Each group
has about 14 students. These groups meet for activities throughout
the year. The purpose is to encourage a sense of community at
Hill. Students meet and relate with other students from all grade
levels. The students are in the same "Kettle" throughout
their years at Hill School. (A group of hawks is called a kettle.)
