William Kloefkorn, Nebraska State Poet, spoke to Hill students on National Author's Day.
Mr. Kloefkorn has been the Nebraska State Poet for 25 years. He enjoys giving programs and workshops to Nebraska's students and hopes they appreciate the power of the written word. He lives in Lincoln where he is an emeritus professor of English at Nebraska Wesleyan University. He has written 12 books of poetry. He also has written two collections of short stories, a memoir, and a collection of children's Christmas stories.
